MC KIRWAN
Artist, Creator , Collaborator
MC Kirwan is an emerging female abstract artist , who graduated with a honors Fashion Design degree from Limerick School of Art and Design, Ireland in 2006.
After graduation she relocated to London and spent 15 years working with global fashion and beauty brands as a Creative Director.
A chronic illness in 2019 resulted in a life changing perspective on her role in society, her time on planet earth and the future of humanities wellbeing. She initially picked up her paint brush to heal. It blossomed into something much more.
Mc’s overwhelming desire to create work for humanity to connect to there senses, there communities and the planet they inhabit became the desire.
MC’s abstract expressionism is an exploration of colour, space, shapes and feelings. She creates for joy and pleasure and to educate the viewer. Her obsession with community, tribes, species and humans relationship with mother nature drives MC to collaborate with like minded businesses, brands and fellow artists.
MC returned to education to study circular economies and sustainability from Cambridge in 2021. This is an ongoing passion and objective within her bodies of work.
Mc moved to Dubai in Autumn 2021 and it is where she currently has her art practice.
